Yes. The TravelPack™ Vacuum Bag works with Ekster’s portable Air Pump or any standard household vacuum cleaner. That means you can compress your vacuum travel bag at home or on the go with whatever is available.
Will the vacuum travel bag lose air during my trip?
No, it will not lose air. The Vacuum Bag is designed for longer-lasting air hold. It features a centralized valve and seam-sealed, glue-bond construction to reduce weak points and slow leaks, helping your clothes stay compressed throughout your trip.
How do I close the vacuum travel bag properly?
1. Make sure your items are neatly placed inside the bag. | 2. Line up the zipper tracks before you start sealing. | 3. Use the included slider to zip the bag shut, all the way to the end. You’ll feel a smooth glide and maybe even hear a soft “click”, which means it’s sealed tight. | 4. Done? Give it a quick press to double-check it’s fully closed

How many items can I pack inside the compression bag?
The bag can typically compress 10–15+ clothing items, depending on thickness and fabric type. Bulkier items like sweaters and jackets take up more space, while lighter layers allow you to fit more.
How do I use the vacuum bag for travel?
Place your folded clothes inside the bag and close the zipper fully. Attach the Air Pump (or a standard vacuum) to the valve and remove the air until compressed. Once sealed, place the compressed vacuum travel bag in your suitcase, backpack, or carry-on.
